King of Siam- Water Lilies

Nymphaea “King of Siam” Day blooming non-viviparous. Bred by Thamasuwan 1988. Will over winter in zones 9 to 11. Plant size is Medium-large. Flower is double blue star shaped, 4” to 8” across. Leaves are lightly flecked with brown spots 6“ to 12“ across. Has a 3’ to 7’ spread. Best to grow in 6” to 18” of water. Flowers are slightly fragrant and stand well above the waters surface. You can grow this one in a one, two or three gallon container. Good for earthen ponds as well. This is Jessie’s favorite Blue and is another Tropical which has a one of a kind look. Grows and blooms excellent but doesn’t produce many offspring, making it just a little more
