Star of Siam - Water Lilies

Nymphaea "Star of Siam" Day blooming non-viviparous. Will over winter in zones 9 to 11. Plants size is medium. Flower is a semi double violet blue, 4" to 7" across. Leaves are heavily mottled 6" to 10" across. Has about a 3' to 6' spread. Best to grow in 6" to 18" of water. Flowers are very fragrant and stand well above the waters surface. You can grow this one in a one, two or three gallon container. Good for earthen ponds as well. This tropical water lily has beautiful blue flowers and the leaves are so incredibly mottled, probably the most mottled that I have ever seen.
